Local Pet Store, TeaCup Puppies and Boutique offers $5000 reward for Stolen Puppies

Hollywood, FL- Hollywood police are looking for a person who stole two coveted toy-breed Chihuahuas, also known as Teacup Chihuahuas, after breaking into the exclusive Teacups Puppies and Boutique on Saturday.  The search has been going on five days and we are worried about the health and well-being of our two babies.  That's why we have decided to offer a $5000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the puppies.

The surveillance video shows the suspect forcing entry, stealing puppies and in the melee, dropping several puppies which led to injuries which the puppies are recovering from.  The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, baggy denim shorts and sneakers.

The robber ''tried to take eight toy-breed Chihuahuas, but ended up with only two and left others scared and injured,'' said Eleonora Bonfini, the owner of the boutique.

The missing pets are valued at $1,500 each. Bonfini is concerned about their well-being. 'Because of their size, they are prone to hypoglycemia and they most likely need medical  attention," says Bonfini.

Ironically, on Monday August 14^th, Teacup Puppies and Boutiques was set to beginning  moving their puppies to 9003 Taft St in Pembroke Pines because they are merging with Pets Are People, Too, a 6000 square foot facility in which the puppies will have more room. Instead Eleonora Bonfini called the movers on Saturday August 12^th and rescheduled the move for that very afternoon.

"Pets are People, Too is a bigger location with 6000 square feet, and is a better environment for the puppies because of its bigger size," says Bonfini. "We will still keep the Teacup Puppies location at 3180 Sterling Rd in Hollywood open but as an outlet for pet clothing and accessories."

The boutique, located at 3180 Stirling Rd., sells luxurious items such as a limited-edition puppy frock with Swarovski crystals. The new location will be at Pets People Too located at 9003 Taft Street Pembroke Pines, FL. For more information please contact 954-436-2110.
