Chef Angelo Morinelli of Cucina d’Angelo
Wins the Golden Chef Award
Boca
Raton, FL-
On November 30th the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce held the
Golden Chef Challenge at The Shops at Boca Center. Proceeds from the event went to support the Greater
Boca Raton’s Chamber of Commerce Golden Bell Education Fund 501(c)3.
Those in attendance
were treated to “food, drinks, food and more food” as each of Boca Center’s
restaurants were participating in the Golden Chef Challenge. The chef from each restaurant was judged by
the participants to find out who would be crowned the Golden Chef.
Those restaurants
participating included Absinthe, Big City Tavern, Opus 5, Cucina d’Angelo,
Morton’s Steakhouse, Starbucks, and Hoffman’s.
It was a close race, but at the end of the night Chef Angelo Morinelli
of Cucina d’Angelo was crowned The Golden Chef.
In accepting his
award Chef Angelo said, “I am so happy that all these people turned out to help
support the Golden Bell Education Fund.
It’s a great beneficiary with an important mission. And, thank you to all the fellow competitors
in the Golden Chef Challenge for putting on a great spread of
food. It is an honor to be recognized in
this way.”
